Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have more house for your money, a backyard for your kids and dog to play in, excellent public schools and less traffic? That’s what you get when you move to Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Western Springs and the neighboring suburbs.
Many couples move to the suburbs after having kids and as people get married later in life and live in the city longer, moving becomes even harder.People wrestle with moving from the city to the suburbs. Trust me it’s worth it…
City folks love walking to their favorite restaurants and boutiques. However, in many of the Western suburbs you can still do this. We also have weekly summer festivals in some towns such Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills. We have neighborhood pools and community houses as well. There are so many ways to meet families just like yourself who moved out to the suburbs for the same reasons I am talking about.
People have found many similarities after settling in to the Western suburbs such as local coffee shops and restaurants. Wouldn’t it be nice to live a block or so away from your children’s school. Wouldn’t it be nice to have your children walk down the block alone to their friend’s house without worrying, and wouldn’t it be nice to know most of your neighbors.
Families weigh the emotional pull of loving a city lifestyle against considerations like schools, a yard and more space. Neighborhoods along the train are huge draws for city folks. I moved from the city as well and the fact that my husband can catch an express train and be in the city in 22 minutes was a huge selling point for us.
Here is another reason why you should move to Hinsdale/Clarendon Hills
Most Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills public grade schools have received the “Blue Ribbon Award” for academic excellence.
Hinsdale Central High School consistently ranks in the top 10 public high schools in Illinois.
The express train from Hinsdale to downtown is approximately 22 minutes.
There is a huge sense of community…
Lastly, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills and the neighboring suburbs are a safe, friendly, environment to live and raise your family.
Why not take the plunge like I did 15 years ago. I can truly say I am so happy that I did….
