One of the best ways to experience Hinsdale’s vibrant downtown is to park your car and walk around. Hinsdale has so much to offer. As you meander down the main streets you will pass by boutiques, coffee shops, salons, Real Estate companies, fabulous restaurants and many other unique shops. In this blog I want to explore my favorite eating destinations.
If you are in the mood for sushi, Nabuki is the spot to go. It is just one of my favorite places to eat. Nabuki is located in the heart of downtown Hinsdale at 18 E 1st street. Reservations are recommended for dinner but you will not be disappointed. It has some of the best sushi I have ever tasted. This restaurant has a laid back atmosphere and feels like you are dining at a swanky downtown eatery. People from all over the city come to Nabuki
Are you in the mood for Italian food? If so we have that to. Also located on 1st street in Hinsdale is Il Poggilo Italian Restaurant, Il Poggiolo means “The Balcony” in Italian. This restaurant is a local favorite. It is a great place to gather with friends and sip a nice glass of vino from their extensive wine list. This restaurant is elegantly done with rich woods and dark colors.
Try out some of their authentic Italian dishes. Their homemade pasta or their signature gnocchi is to die for. You will not be disappointed.
Lastly on my list of favorite eateries is “Fuller House”. Fuller House is a rustic chic tavern named after one of the first families to settle in Hinsdale in the 1800’s. You will notice while walking around Hinsdale you will see Fuller’s Hardware, Fullers Car Wash, and Fullers Service Center as well. Fuller House is famous for their whiskey, cold beer, and great bar food. This restaurant is a great place to just hang out, watch a sporting event, and have a drink with friends.
I am telling you the western suburbs has it all and so much more. If you are interested in taking a look at homes in Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Western Springs, La Grange, Burr Ridge, or Oak Brook please give me a call. I would love to show you what each town can offer you.
